I have nothing to say, except it's really well-made game with a lot of gameplay (it's a really long game as far as I can tell from the screenshots). This game actually requires a lot of thinking (especially at early stages of the game) as sending your troops and harvesters too far is not a great idea.
Enemies which die nearby The Red Pool will drop unobtainable resources, so you need to make sure no one overextends - later on it's a different story - you need to have upgraded retreat command I guess, because of the fact you start sending a fair number of troops so you eventually won't be able to save every soldier.
There are a lot of researches to be made - some of them not really useful (fe. investing in firepower of first troops you can deploy) and some of them are nice to have (probably a "must have" in higher difficulties), and critical ones.
This game is quite hard to play efficiently, but it starts getting more interesting as you start to understand what you should do.
About the 1st boss drop I've meant that weapon is way worse than fully/decently upgraded master tier staff. Generally the issue is; the weapon cannot be upgraded. It shoots one projectile, where any 2/3lvl tier staff with upgrades will cover wider area and deal more damage, because they are upgraded. Unless I am missing something about the weapon.
And is frozen enemy supposed to deal contact damage and able to attack? It would made more sense (logically at least) if it stopped enemy from dealing damage, but it's fine if mage crowd control is supposed to root enemies.
NPCs are also a good idea.
Only sad thing is; staff, which drops from 1st boss isn't any good. Also some things two-shot character for no reason despite upgrading health.
And I don't know if it's a bug, but buying 2nd grade weapon allows you to upgrade a skill related to this weapon, which in my opinion is too overpowered.
It seems like rushing to next floor is only viable, because of how character is weak - and I guess that's the idea of the game, but it's easy to get trapped between 3 monsters. Poison shouldn't be as a trap, because it's random. Health in this game is a very limited resource.
I am happy to tell this is a great concept. I've enjoyed the game; temporary cards are cool too, but shame they aren't recoverable. I guess that's what is supposed to make this game more challenging.
Some enemies were annoying (swordfish "nose sword" had an annoying hitbox and the grey fish had strange movement). And out of curiosity; this big shark would one-shot me? Either way; decent game!
Nice game, but the game is hard on very easy, so later levels would probably take like half hour.
https://youtu.be/4xDk6zZCxu4 - there's the link, because apparently youtube broke linking. You can see my struggles the first time I encounter level relying on "create passage by passing through an a place where mushroom will grow later". After that I was getting it more consistently.
I played it first time and I can already tell it's really interesting. I am looking forward to its development. There's my gameplay. It was somewhat random and I can tell those dragons from eggs are decent weapons - they cost no stamina. I was avoiding things, which required hard setup (fe. thorn-based weapons, legendary item demanding me to have 7 of couple attributes etc.), because I was learning.
